As I mentioned in my last post that highlightedThe BEST Restaurants in Whistler, Whistler is hands down myFAVORITE place in the world! I absolutely love exploring and trying the best places to eat in Whistler. This blog post will highlight some of the best hotels in Whistler.
My husbandproposedto me in Whistler in 2020, and we gotmarried2021年在惠斯勒。It will always have aspecial place in my heart.

Now that I’ve talked about myfavorite places to eat in Whistler, I’m here to highlight a few of my FAVORITE places to stay!

1. Nita Lake Lodge
Nita Lake Lodgeis by far ourFAVORITEplace to stay in Whistler. Tucked away in Whistler Creekside, it’s an absolutely beautiful lodge and has its own private lake.

In my opinion, it is the BEST hotel in Whistler.
And I’m not just saying this because it’s where Dom proposed to me! It’s truly a relaxing getaway. It also helps that ourfavorite restaurant in the WORLDis located right beside the hotel!
When we first started dating I booked a trip to Whistler for Dom for his birthday. We stayed atNita Lake Lodge在隔壁的红门小酒馆吃饭It’s been anannual traditionever since.
The hotel itself is beautiful. It’s a popular venue for weddings! Our wedding was actually supposed to be held here before we cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions and eloped instead.
I HIGHLY recommend getting aStudio Lake View Suite– the views of the lake are definitely worth the extra money. The rooms at Nita Lake Lodge are upscale but still have a homey mountain vibe.
The suites have tons of space and I love their gas fireplaces and the bathrooms with heated slate floors and rainfall showers!

The hotel ispet friendly, so you can let them know if you’re bringing your fur babies. Which is perfect because Whistler is a great place to bring your pets!
Also, if you live in BC, look out for theBC Residents Special Rate. You get a discount at checkout, usually around20-30% off!

I love renting their bikes and riding around the lake and then to Whistler Village or down the trails to the nearby lakes, likeAlta Lake. Kayaking and canoeing the lake is also a fun and peaceful activity!
Bring your own skates if you come in the winter as the lake completely freezes over and there are lots of people skating on the lake or playing ice hockey!
Even when the lake freezes over, there is a small hole in the ice by the swimming dock for you to take an ice cold dip – if you’re into that! Just make sure you be careful and always have someone with you.
In the winter, there are free ski lockers and shuttles to Whistler Village.
If you’re looking for ULTIMATE relaxation, check out their full-service spa with a steam room and rooftop hot tubs! They also have good mani/pedi options,I love this spa!

I also highlightedCure Lounge + Patioinside the hotel in myBEST EATS blog post– their flatbread/pizzas and cocktails are great for Happy Hour! Lakeside Restaurant is right beside it if you’re looking for a fancier meal.
2. Fairmont Chateau Whistler
Another one of our go-to places to stay in Whistler,Fairmont Chateauis the definition of ultimate luxury. It’s the perfect setting for couples, families, meetings, or weddings. They combine classic elegance with a modern alpine setting and is considered one of the Best Hotels in Whistler by many.
If you are a golfer, then Fairmont Chateau Whistler should be at the top of your list for best hotels in Whistler as it includes a par 72, 18-hole Audubon-certified championship golf course.
The best part of Fairmont Chateau in my opinion, is their newly reimagined费尔蒙特黄金。像一个豪华酒店内的酒店，费尔蒙黄金的经验开始的那一刻，你到达前门。8楼设有专属的接待和礼宾服务，私人的客人休息室可以俯瞰美丽的山景，以及专属的服务和设施。
We stayed at Fairmont Gold when we got married in 2021 and it was amazing.
The Gold floors are located on the 7th-12th floors and you get access to the exclusiveFairmont Gold Lounge.
The lounge is beautiful, with amazing mountain views and alpine-designed themes. There’s plenty of space and not too many people, so you can really come here to relax after a day of exploring the mountains. There is afood and beverage service, curated by Executive Chef Isabel Chung, and offerscomplimentary continental breakfast,cocktail canapés, andlate-night sweet treats.
There’s also aself-serve Honor barwith a great alcohol and signature cocktail selection. TheGold Lounge menu changes throughout the day, so make sure to check out the menu and time windows on their website! The staff here are so incredibly friendly, they truly go out of their way to make sure your every need is met!
We stayed in aFairmont Gold Junior Suite, which was newly renovated. It included high floor,private check-in and check-out还有一间带客厅和国王卧室的套间，卧室之间隔着一座燃气壁炉和一扇推拉门。浴室包括Skinjay精油淋浴体验，这是一个非常有趣的功能，我们喜欢!

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is also home to a full service spa that is one of the best I’ve ever been to! WhileVida Spais definitely on the pricier side, it’s to be expected from ahigh end spain a luxury hotel. I think it’s worth treating yourself once in a while! Dom and I got couples massages here the day after our wedding and it was so good that I fell asleep and snored!

3. Evolution Whistler
Evolution Whistleris another luxury hotel tucked away in Whistler Creekside. It is another hotel that is consistently named as one of the best places to stay and one of the best hotels in Whistler.
I absolutelyLOVEthis hotel because every single unit comes with afully furnished kitchen, even the one bedroom suites! You know me – I absolutely love cooking. It’s great to be able to cook up a quick meal in the comfort of your own room.
Evolution’s suites areSO spacious. We stayed in aThree Bedroom Suitewith our friends and we had ample space for 3 couples. All 3 bedrooms came withking sized beds! There was also a pull-out sofa bed, so you could technically fit an occupancy of up to 8. There were also 3 full bathrooms. It’s so comfortable getting your own bedroom and bathroom, while also being able to hang out in the spacious living room and common area!
Like Nita Lake Lodge, Evolution is alsopet-friendly. Just make sure you keep your dog leashed! Even if your dog is friendly, Whistler requires you tokeep them leashed upunless you’re in a designated off-leash area. This is for thesafetyof your dog and everyone else. Whistler is home to many bears and can be dangerous to dogs in certain conditions, making it super important to keep your pups leashed up! It’s also worth noting to pleasepick up after your pet. There are lots of dog waste bins in Whistler, so please use them! Whistler is a great place to bring your dog, so it’s nice to have hotels that are pet-friendly.
Evolution also offers aBC Residents Rate, so keep an eye out for special deals!
Amenities at this hotel include a large pool and hot tub, steam room, large fitness room, and plenty of ski lockers in the winter. There is a game room with a pool table, foosball table, and two Nintendo Wii U stations. In the summer, there is a large patio area overlooking Whistler Mountain with sun chairs and a BBQ grill!
The hotel is also located right by theCreekside Liftif you’re skiing or snowboarding in the winter.
Evolution’s spacious suites with fully furnished kitchens makes it feel like you’re staying at home away from home while you’re on vacation. This is why it’s one of the best hotels in Whistler!
4. Four Seasons Resort Whistler
Four Seasonsin Whistler rivals Fairmont Chateau for the best luxury hotel in Whistler. While I’ve never personally stayed here, we toured it while we were looking at wedding venues and it was absolutely beautiful!
The rooms are contemporary and modern withclassic mountain styling. There are beautiful views of the mountains from the rooms as well. Like Fairmont, it’s on the pricier side but I can see it being worth the money. I’ll have to stay here next time and let you know how I like it!
While it isn’t a ski-in/ski-out hotel, there’s a full service Ski Concierge with plenty of benefits that will make it worth staying here.
There are tons of amenities and services, including a heated pool, one of the top rated spas in Canada, fitness centre, “The Library” lounge, and much more.
This award winning hotel has had plenty of glowing reviews from guests, making it one of the best hotels in Whistler.
5. Sundial Hotel
Opposite the Blackcomb Excalibur Gondola skit lift,Sundial Hotelis an all-suite hotel that is located in the heart of Whistler Village. It is a short walk from Whistler Golf Club and many of the top places to visit in the Village.
Similar to Evolution, their relaxed suites include full kitchens and gas fireplaces. Bathrooms have heated slate floors, just like Nita Lake Lodge. Some upgraded suites have balconies with private hot tubs and beautiful mountain views.
There’s arooftop hot tubthat everyone raves about, and guests can use the seasonal pool at a neighbouring hotel. The restaurant and pub in the hotel features weekly live entertainment and music, while there’s also sushi and Mexican restaurants. The hotel offers complimentary bike and ski storage.
This hotel is great because it has one of the best locations in Whistler. It’s located right next to the ski lift and is in the heart of the Village, so you are able to walk everywhere. The suites have beautiful views of the Whistler Blackcomb Gondolas.
This is where Dom and his family would stay when they would come up to Whistler for ski/snowboard trips. It’s also not as pricey as some of the other resorts on the list, but it still has everything you need in a hotel!
